BLOOMINGTON- On the day after IU got the news that Justin Teage had decided to go to Wake Forest, good new came. At about 11:30 Saturday morning IU received the news that Eli Holman , a 6'10 senior from Richmond, California, had decided to comitt to Indiana. Holman has a 7'7 wingspan, a size 19 shoe, and said to have hands 3 times the size of the average grown man.
Holman was not alone in the news headlines for the Hoosiers on Saturday as Eric Gordon and Derrek Rose were both in Bloomington for unofficial visits. Rose is the #3 ranked player in the '07 class, including being the #1 point guard. Eric Gordon is even better, ranked at #2 in the '07 class. They participated in an open gym session with the current Indiana players that was said to be open to the public. Hoosier fans were very dissapointed, and Assembly Hall turned into a mob scene. Nevertheless, it was a big day for Indiana, their options are wide open.
