INDIANAPOLIS- Work is a part of everybody's life, and that is never going to change. You are going to have to do work unless you are a special individual that wins the lottery or has a rich relative around. Otherwise you are going to have to get a job to support a family like everybody else. A topic for debate is "Should you take a job that pays more that you don't enjoy or take one that you enjoy that pays less?"
So many people get a job nowadays because they like the pay. An example of a job like this is a doctor, or an orthodontist. These jobs are very well paid, but very few people actually enjoy what they do. In my opinion, this is a terrible way to live your life. You only get to live life one time for how ever long it may be, and every day should be one that you enjoy. When you wake up every morning worried about the day and dread going into work, you know I am talking about you. Money is just an object and cannot make you happy. As long as you have "enough" money, everything is okay. Plasma TV's, fancy cars, and big houses are not necessary to enjoy life. The important thing is to spend time with your family, and if you are always working then that will not be possible.
Although not everybody agrees, I would recommend that you think of things that you like to do, then apply for jobs in those areas. If you love sports, you could get into writing, commentating, analyzing, and many others. There are many different jobs for every interest, you just have to find them. Don't get a job that you don't like, go after one that you will enjoy day after day, year after year. Life is too short to do something you don't like, no matter how much it may pay.
